Kongy's SpaceMarch 29 Bffl?Wow, 2 blog posts in 2 days=P So I just got home from le centre ville and my kind little Ipod decided to play a song that I have not heard in a VERY long time! This was because I was stuck at Richmond station for 20 extra minutes at like 11ish! Anyways, it made me start thinking...hmm, I wonder if I am exactly the same as I was back then or I wonder how much has 'actually' changed? The short answer is NO and it is really amazing when you look back at it and see how much you have grown and learnt as a person=) Cheesy, I know but oh well and hey I had a spare 20mins=P By the way that song was 'Blind' by Lifehouse=P Significance? It was significant in my life before, but now it is just a passing memory. A small little speck that you acknowledge but look past=) Anyways, this lead me to further contemplation. When you tell someone they are your bffl or vice versa, DO NOT do it unless you really mean it because, let's face it, circumstances change and what you said before will not carry into the immediate future. Really, really, at the bottom of your heart, mean it! I don't know why I just mentioned that, guess I am just tired=P I could go into this more...NAH=P haha C'est le conseil de Nick pour ce soir;) Wow, I talk about the past too much! So FUTURE time haha! Took a much needed break tonight from work that is still bogging me down=D Headed out to the city=) Did not actually see the effects of Earth Hour much... What else? Looking forward to the Easter break coming up which will give me more of an opportunity to catch up with my good mates=) Also, handed in my application form for this volunteer thing (I wonder if I'll get it?) Well I'm up against 150-200 applications apparently! I hope you guys are all well..., not many people read this so to all those who do read it...hope you are awesome! Nick March 28 CertaintySo I had this realization last night at about 12ish....=P Well, it was not really a realization. Just a thought or inkling or whatever. And, I like my law analogies. *Now for the boring bit* Anyways, you know when you have a contract. One of the essential elements is 'Certainty'. Now, courts will not enforce a contract between parties if the terms of a contract are not clear and certain for all parties. ie: you cannot go 'I will buy this house from you for around $300 000 to $500 000 and I might throw in something extra, as consideration, if I'm nice, but I do not know what?' Now courts have the power to SEVER a term from a contract if the contract can still function in its entirety without the term. This is just an 1/16 of Certainty. There are exceptions but we do not need to go into those! Now, if the only things you picked up were 'Sever' and 'still function', you have done a fantastic job! And you have learnt some law=P And if that made no sense to you whatsoever, just look at some status updates on facebook as 'some people' have status' that like being ambiguous ......And some people, have blogs that are partially 'ambiguous' but you can pick up their 'true' meaning. Anyways, I am off on my tangential spiral down to nothingness! Finally taking a break from all this work tonight and heading into town=D Oh and finally, 'Eh, eh, there's nothing else I can say.....'  I know no one reads this so I feel like having a rant!=P An annoyed rant=P
You know, there comes a time in your life, or multiple times, where you're like 'Why do I bother with something...?' You have to constantly and consistently ask yourself, 'Hmm, I wonder if I'm doing the right thing..?' And quite frankly, you move a step forward and it just feels like you keep getting knocked back so in the end, it essentially leaves you disheartened to do anything else or want to do anything else, even though you try. And when you end up doing something 'nice' or 'good' or even 'horrible' it ends up being 'Why am I doing this/Why do i bother...?' I now see the viewpoint that some people in the police force take. That you do something important, trying to do good, but hardly get recognised. Now in a hypothetical situation Party B would not understand no matter how much you emphasise this point. But then again, Party A 'might or might not' see the viewpoint of Party B. Or chooses to see 'other things' instead of the main thing. Or is just plain selfish? I don't know, and I'm not going to read into it! In the end, I guess you just stick with it hoping to break out of this stupid stupid cycle of doom....!! Well it is not that severe...it just a horrible cycle which likes to repeat itself CONSTANTLY... By the way, this has nothing to do about choosing Law. It's fun=) 'A Peppercorn can buy the world...' Mark Davison And yes it can, if you play your cards through 'consideration' correctly! Seriously this guy is an awesome lecturer! I haven't found anyone else as entertaining yet. Mind you my French culture person seems to be terribly interested in Prostitution in Paris in the 19th century. Today, I learnt that the lights (a symbol of the vibrance of Paris) of the street, illuminated the prostitutes so you could see them better...I'm still questioning why I am doing this subject? Anyways, I've had my rant! Moving on...Life is good! Catching up occasionally with the people who you really care about makes a massive difference. Whether they know it or not. Seriously, there is mountains of reading to be done on Consideration, Intention, Certainty and so forth but you really come to appreciate the time you get off/the times you can just let your brain wonder. Like now, hence why I wrote the first bit....because I have let my brain wonder into the abyss of thinking and that is not a good place to be..... I'm tired....so nightsky! This might be complete jargon, but if you can make sense of it, then you'll have learnt a thing about friendship lol...it's 'ex citing'!
Anyways, off to uni tomorrow! Yay, Arts on Wednesday and Law on Thursday. Bought a permit for the year so going to be driving. Yay, no more early morning 'full' Connex train rides to the city! You can tell I'm excited, since I've already written this in old blogs lol! Oh well, I'll have to deal with traffic jams this year. I also learnt today that the 631 (5mins) also goes directly there...hmmm....
So I went to visit the magistrates court last week, since we have that assignment to do, and the amount of cases involving 'theft', 'drink driving' or what not, is quite amazing. And everyone has a different story....The amount of cases a magistrate deals with quite amazing!
Although, (let's call him person A) had the plea "I thought my ex girlfriend was pregnant so I took drugs and drove to her house." For future reference..that didn't work! Actually it was just adjourned, so who knows?
What else has been happening? I'm unemployed again, yay? Although, I have saved up quite a bit to last me a while
 Looking forward to next week, off to camp
I think I've given up on a costume. Will probably just grab the old school uniform out again and do something with it lol!I'm bound to have something to say again soon...wow, uni starts again next week! It's been ages...my brain has slowly melted during the holidays, yet there's nothing 'wrong' at the moment and hopefully it stays that way

Nick February 17 Trip O/Sea's 09!!So, I went overseas and some of you are probably wondering what I did there!

Geez, I have stacks of stuff to do before uni starts! Went to Lise' gathering today so that was good fun
! Even though, I didn't sleep on the plane at all..so an all nighter...don't ever do that! Not a good idea! Still going...something is keeping me going...I have no idea what??? It's called reserved battery power probably Looking forward to Thursday night tooSo what's been going on? I need news! What have I missed?
 Preferably not relating to 'that thing'....k thx. Yes, I realise there have been devastating bushfires because it was on the news over there too. But to think that some arsonist could have done is really not something good. Why would you do that? If you can shed some light...feel free!Nick
P.S: So I just got back to dinner and I am getting used to the serving sizes again
 Do not eat so much with your rellos the first time you head out with them cause they'll keep feeding you lots and lots till the end lol because they assume you eat alot cause you're from AustraliaHaha, my cousin said the funniest thing in the car..she's like 'when it comes to appearance you're 100% asian, but when it comes down to culture I don't know if it's 50/50 anymore? Is it 80/20?'...or something along those lines...so growing up here has been alot different then how they grew up. Obviously, the way Dad's bro brought up his kids were alot different than how he brought me up.
Which brings me to my next point about CHOICES! You know, it's really scary each choice you make! I'm more of a 'live for the moment' and deal with what's to come when you get there. However, the CHOICES you make in life are extremely scary! If Dad had not made that decision when I was 4, alot of things would be different now! and I mean ALOT!
And the next point is OPPORTUNITIES! We are so lucky to live here! Going back made me realise that even more! Yeah, we do have high taxes but they pay off in the end. In Malaysia, if you have no money, you'll be begging on the street and selling coupons and tissues. They won't help you at all. Well, not only there. Of course there are other countries.
I saw a 2 year old girl, about the 2nd last night, she had constant oxygen or something hooked up to her so she could survive. When you see these things, it really has an impact on you! I know by writing this down it might actually seem like nothing but when you actually see these things it really does!

So yesterday, technically I was officially a Monash and Melbourne student. Today, no more haha
Went in to Melbourne Uni in the morning in the scorching heat and handed in my withdrawel form What I did find funny was the chick behind the desk at the Arts student centre. As soon as she got my form she's like CONGRATULATIONS! And I'm like Why? lol! I'm leaving your uni... She then went on the tell me how awesome postgrad at melb was lol! Who knows, I might end up back there doing a masters in law or something...anyways, the future can wait..don't really care atm! Living in the moment Although, I can't choose b/w Majoring in Crim and minoring in french or Majoring in International Studies and Minor en Francais. I'm going to set up a dart board soon...The rest of the day was fun! We were escaping the heat lol, which was not very easy in the city! 'Meh'...Myer was alright while it lasted
We just had lunch in the city, went bowling (and yes, I did play better this time) Still came last in one game though You were lucky Lise, bloody getting a Spare and getting another chance to knock more pins over at the end!! Anyways! It was a good day...I finally got a strike which was a complete fluke lol. So no, I didn't play as crappy as when I went with Iz and others.So yes, leaving on a flight tomorrow at midnightish (technically it's sunday) but anyways. Yeah, if I haven't told you yet I
a)have not spoken to you at all or
b) reverse!
Cannot wait...have to finish packing tonight though! Although, I'm not going to pack much since I'll probs be buying it down there! *clue* Obviously, I'm not going to some expensive place...
